Boredom continues...
At least tangling helps pass the time when you are bored and it's much more productive than trolling Facebook... So here's today's boredom breaker.

Boredom breaker
So being bored today but not able to really go do anything, I turned to my tangling. I picked up a "UFO" (unfinished object) and completed it finally. So here it is:

All you need is love...
This weeks challenge was to use Valentine's Day as our inspiration. I have been wanting to try out my glaze and soufflé pens so I decided this was a perfect time. I happened to have some scraps of glass and used one to create this tangle. They are very different and I think from here on I won't mix them too often but I had fun with this. Now Andrew is taking his turn with my work and figuring out how to backlight it. So it's another project that we are unintentionally doing together.
The photo does it no justice but until I figure out a better way to light it it is what it is for now. (It's blurry because of the 3-demensionality of the ink on the glass and that it is transparent made the camera not want to focus.)

Giving smiles
It has been some time since I was last tangling. There has been a lot of changes and things that have happened that took time away from me being able to tangle. Let me tell you I have missed it. I finally decided that I just needed to make the time to tangle. Christmastime seemed like a good time to do this for several reasons; one it allowed me to make things for others and two it gave me time to relax and do something that makes me feel less frantic during the crazy holiday season.
So the current diva challenge (#248) is to give the gift of Zentangle. I had actually already started this for the holiday season but decided to go a little further and give to more than just my mom (I had made an ornament specifically for her before the challenge was given). So I made ornaments for each of our nieces and nephews and for my two best friends. It was pretty cool to see the reactions.

Fairy Invitations
This challenge was to create a place of fairies. This was a very fun challenge actually. There are so many tangles out there that look like they belong in the world of fairies. As I was finishing it I wanted something for the sky and I thought what better than mist as fairies are in the land of enchantment and for some reason I think of mist when I think of this land. Hope you enjoy.
